Enjoy a free morning on board the ship or add an excursion. Later, climb aboard a felucca, a traditional sailboat, to ride past Elephantine Island. Home to the frontier fortress of Egypt, the island is named for the dark granite rocks that resemble a herd of elephants bathing in the river. You’ll take in panoramic views of the water from the hilltop mausoleum of Agha Khan.
