Sep 27: Sightseeing tour of Ypres Region

Head back into Belgium and visit cemeteries, trenches, and memorials located outside of Ypres.  • Take a guided tour of the Canadian Hill 62 Memorial at Sanctuary Wood  • Stop to visit both the Dickebusch New Military Cemetery and the Kemmel No.1 French Cemetery  • See the Bayernwald German Trenches, which date back to 1916  • Visit Spanbroekmolen to see the Pool of Peace war memorial and learn about the Christmas Truce of 1914  • Stop at the Island of Ireland Peace Park, located in the city of Mesen  • Travel to Waregem to see the Flanders Field American Cemetery and Memorial
